Teens To Make Video With The Legendary Usher

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Teen ideas

Do you want to be the first teens to make video with the legendary Usher? Learn more about your nutrition and then help spread the word while having a load of fun with it. Usher is launching a competition in which a group of lucky teens will get the chance to collaborate with him on his latest music video. The star is taking part in the Got Noise? Program (we’re talking about milk here).

I do not condone all of Usher’s videos he makes. I would not suggest that you as a teen watch all of his videos. But what he is doing here is a good cause and a great opportunity.

Usher is looking for teens between the age of 13 and 18 to submit video ideas for his latest video. The winners will be put into two teams and they will create, cast, produce and shoot a real music video with the famous Usher. You will be trained on how to use the top of the line video equipment and editing software. If chosen you will also get to work with filmmakers from across the country. Just think, you will be working with and directing the one-and-only Usher. You’ll be making history.

These videos will go head-to-head with the studio version of the videos and will then be in an online vote-off. You need to hurry though. They are only taking applications until January 31, 2009.

One part of beauty is giving your confidence level a boost and having fun. Giving your talent a creative outlet and expressing who you are allows your beauty to shine. So if you tend towards the creative sort why not give this a try. If anything, you will have a blast doing it. Why not be one of the first teens to make video with the legendary Usher.

Teens Give – A Gift Everyone Can Afford to Give

Posted by: admin  :  Category: Teen ideas

Quick think. What do teens give, what is the best gift everyone can afford to give at the last minute.

Christmas came so fast this year that many of you haven’t been shopping yet. It’s not too late. Being a teen you are probably wondering what you can do. What is the best gift to give now that it is Christmas Eve. The economy had a bad hit right before Christmas. Some of your parents lost their jobs. The job you thought you were going to have during holidays to make some extra Christmas money wasn’t available because everyone is cutting back. Or maybe it just snuck up on you and you still need ideas for a gift. What is the special gift everyone (including you) can afford to give.

You could go to Amazon.com, and search frantically in the top 10 picks.

With a few clicks a gift will be on it’s way. But it will be late and you will have to put a “It’s on the way” card under the Christmas tree. Option number two – you could go out in the hustle bustle of the late shoppers and try to find something in the stores that they haven’t sold out of yet and fight the person next to you for it. OR …

Teens listen up! There is a third option. The best gift everyone can afford to give at anytime is your love, your time, your self. This is the best gift ever because it is alive, it constantly changes and it keeps giving.

Here’s three suggestions to start your creative juices flowing.

  1. Offer to do chores around the house, do the laundry or some yard work. Everyone is always looking for more time to be able to get other things done.

  2. Prepare a meal or a snack and sit down with that person and talk about them. Let them tell you their likes, dislikes or their favorite experiences. If you listen closely, you may even pick up nuggets of wisdom from them.

  3. Tell them how much you love them and how special they are to you. Tell them face to face or write a poem, make up a song or record it on a DVD.

Words and actions of love speak loud and clear. When all other gifts have been long gone your words of love will keep on speaking. You have something very special to give. Teens, give of yourselves. It’s a gift everyone can afford to give. It’s the best gift to give at anytime and anywhere that will last a lifetime.
